Demons are classified as Demonic Beasts and Demonic Spirits. They are animals and spirits of the world that have gained spiritual insight upon a lucky opportunity to become demonic beasts and demonic spirits. Their descendants would then be born with complete demonic powers. After countless years of reproduction and an inheritance that would not be lost, in many worlds, demons have become a massive race that is no smaller than the human race.
In the Profound Sky Continent and Azure Cloud Continent, humans and beasts are in the majority, and item spirits and sword spirits could barely be considered low class spirits. Other races such as demons and fairies were commonly talked about and yet rarely appeared. The reason why demons and fairies were mentioned in Profound Sky Continent was not because of the continent itself but because of the secretive and remote Illusory Demon Realm. From the bits and pieces of rumors, not only did fairies and demons exist within Illusory Demon Realm, they were the majority of the population there. In the Illusory Demon Realm, demons, fairies, and humans commonly intermarry and produce mixed offspring. It is currently very difficult to find a pure human in the Illusory Demon Realm due to this.

Demonic Beasts are beasts and they can transform into humans. Their intelligence are equal if not surpasses that of most human beings. A normal beast that wants to become a demonic beast requires a long time in cultivation and a lucky opportunity. Thereafter, their descendants would be born with complete demonic powers. Therefore, after countless years of reproduction and an inheritance that would not be lost.
Demonic Spirits
Demonic Spirits are flowers, plants, and trees. Low level demonic spirits have to ability to talk, such as a talking dandelion. Slightly higher level demonic spirits such as the crabapple woman can take a human female form but still cannot move freely due to her roots. If they reproduce with a pure human mate, they can gain more mobility and not be limited by their plant roots.
