The Eternal Night Devil King survived the calamity and was sealed on Blue Pole Star by the Heretic God for 1.000.000 years.
He sealed his own son's soul in the Heavenly Sin Divine Sword. Later, his son made a pact with the Humans giving them the Eternal Night Devil bloodline and the Illusory Devil Tome of Eternal Night, the unique Devil Art of the Eternal Night Devil Clan.
After the fierce battle against Yun Che, before dying, the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign sacrificed his own Devil Origin Orb that sustained an Ancient Devil’s life origin, soul origin and origin of darkness "in order to consign him to eternal damnation". The Devil Origin Orb got buried itself into Yun Che’s Profound Veins and released a layer of black light as it sheathed his Profound Veins in a faint black glow.
Later, thanks to the Dark Seed of the Heretic God, Yun Che obtained the full control of the dark energy and can freely use the dark energy. Also, from a threat for his own life, the Devil Origin Orb became his second extra reserve of pure dark energy other than the dark energy used normally with the Dark Seed's powers within his Profound Veins.
After the even more fierce battle and the killing of Xuanyuan Wentian, Yun Che memorized the Illusory Devil Tome of Eternal Night from the Heavenly Sin Divine Sword but didn't cultivate it.
Yun Che later taught the Ancient Devil Art to Yun Qianying when she began practicing Devil Arts. During the Battle of the Center Ruins, Yun Che was confirmed to have also cultivated the Illusory Devil Tome of Eternal Night some time after entering the Northern Divine Region.
