The Illusory Demon Royal Family is the royal family that rules over the Illusory Demon Realm. They consist of the imperial family, Huan Family, and many dukes' families. The royal family does not have any grand princes, the title of duke is given to relatives of the ruling family that do not have the emperor's direct bloodline. After many years of enjoying the benefits of being relatives to the imperial family, the dukes' families have formed their own power bases and refer to them as 'Duke Palaces'. The imperial family came to rule over the entire continent with the aid of the Twelve Guardian Families and these families serve to protect the imperial family.

The imperial family is the emperor's family. It originated from the first inheritor of the Golden Crow's Legacy. Their policy is to marry brothers and sisters to maintain purity of the Golden Crow bloodline.
Duke Palaces[]
There are a total of one hundred and three Dukes Palaces that are a part of the Illusory Demon Royal Family and are also referred to as the 'Royal Clan'. They are relatives to the imperial family with impure Golden Crow bloodlines, i.e children of the Emperor from concubines and mistresses. Each Duke Palace is relatively independent and cannot be compared to any of the Guardian Families in terms of power but they still possess strong practitioners and many accumulated resources and wealth[1]. The Duke Palaces rank the strongest of their young generation into a list called the Illusory Demon Seven Scions.
