Ling Kun is an Elder of the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region. Ling Kun’s profound strength was in the late stage of Tyrant Profound Realm. In Mighty Heavenly Sword Region, this was below the average but he was listed as one of the Elders. This was because of his extraordinary scheming mind and his extensive knowledge and experience.

He looked to be about forty to fifty years of age, with an average build and expressionless face.[1]

He is a very evil person full of schemes behind his dangerous smile.
History
He attended the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament to act as a witness. There he discovered Xia Qingyue's Nine Profound Exquisite Body when she showed off her abnormal mastery of profound arts. He wanted to get the maximum profit out of this knowledge and sold this information to Ye Xinghan for 1.5 kilograms of Purple Veined Divine Crystal.[2] This led to Xia Qingyue having to be teleported away to a random place, the death of both Gong Yuxian and Feng Qianhui, and Yun Che becoming the new Asgard Master.
He later attended the Seven Nation Ranking Tournament where he acted as the representative from the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region. His main purpose was to affirm the deal he had with Ye Xinghan who also attended the tournament.[3]
Death
After defeating Xuanyuan Wentian, Yun Che pardoned the remaining Four Sacred Grounds. As the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region was leaving, Yun Che suddenly told Ling Kun to wait. Believing that Yun Che was not going to reminisce about the first time they met, he became fearful. Yun Che questions him about why Ye Xinghan attacked Frozen Cloud Asgard in the first place. Ling Kun feigns ignorance and acts confused. Yun Che attracted Ling Kun towards him and he was only able to say a few words before letting Yun Che’s Profound Handle invade his heart and soul to which he loses consciousness. When Yun Che learns of the situation regarding Ling Kun selling information about the Nine Profound Exquisite Body to Ye Xinghan and Xuanyuan Yufeng asking him to destroy Frozen Cloud Asgard, Yun Che recalls the Profound Handle. He asked Yun Che what did he do to him before flames burst out of Yun Che’s hand that instantly turned Ling Kun into a human torch. In the next instant, his entire body had dissolved and completely became ashes.[4]
